Biography	Kamaleddin Ibn al-Adim est un chroniqueur arabe né à Alep en 1192 et mort au Caire en 1262. Il enseigne dans les madrasas alépines à partir de 1219-1220, puis est nommé qadi, puis finalement vizir du sultan ayyoubide Al-Nasir Yusuf. Il doit fuir Alep pour l'Égypte avec ce dernier après la conquête mongole en 1260.
